New Year Chilli Prawns and Happiness!!!

Wednesday, December 30th, 2009

Christmas is nearly over, nearly time to put the baubles and tinsel back in their dusty hiding places and enjoy the feeling of space that comes from taking down the now rather wonky tree and putting away the last of the wayward gifts and toys.

Rudolf the reindeer food recipe!

Thursday, December 17th, 2009

Special Rudolf the Raindeer Food Well its the 16th of December and time for another family tradition, making the food for rudolf!

We always used to buy this very special delicacy from Jack’s primary school Christmas fair but to be honest its much more fun to make than buy. Even milly helped this year, and  though at one point she tried to shove giant fist full’s  into her mouth, it was on the whole a none dangerous family fun fun event!

You know that kind of belly tickly excitment of Christmas eve night, or the lovely warm feeling of cuddling up on the sofa with the family after a giant Christmas dinner, listening to your mum snore softly(that might just be my mum),  jeans top button undone through sheer stuffedness! (again, that might just be me !)

The kind of lovely magical Christmas feeling of happiness that starts at the tips of your toes and radiates everywhere.

Ahhh it did exsist didnt it?,

I’m sure I didn’t just imagine it or see it in a film, I felt it once….. (more…)
