Ok… so I am a little behind in the celebrations seeing as cupcake week started on the 14th but as my mum always says, better late than never!
I will tell you how I have been celebrating, yesterday I had all my lovely pals over for home made cup cakes, I followed Anabelle Karmels recipe which is totally goof proof (just as well,ey?) and we all had a fab time! as well as the yummy cupcakes we had credit crunch cookies and half a box of Thornton chocolates. These were supposed to be for crimbo presents but I just couldn’t resist  (note to self, don’t try and be organised, its just not you! buy anything remotely edible on Christmas eve… you have no will power!).
I have also come up with a new ickle t-shirt, it has a cute appliqué cup cake design, cup cake ribbons and cute button embelishments. It’s the first of my new designs for toddler’s and children, I am dreaming up dinosaurs and monster tee’s for the boys and cute song birdie and elephant designs for the girls. So watch this space! I have also been buying up the national supply of ribbons , I cant help… it I am addicted! So I am opening a hair ribbon pick and mix section of icklebabe. We will have rainbow ones and cup cake ones and cute elephant print ones and polka dot ones and retro union jack ones… oh the list goes on. I can’t wait!
Whatever you have been doing for cupcake week  I hope you had fun and don’t feel to sick  I am wearing my leggings now (thank the lord for eighties fashion!) as nothing else fits!

cupcake sparkle

Oh wow!!! Love your cupcakes. Where did you get your sparkles from? How do you fit in tweeting, blogging, being a mum and making all these amazing things!!! The T-Shirt is fantastic!! Well done you, you should be very proud of yourself.
Gorgeous little t-shirt! If I have a girl this time round I could buy something like this!
Thanx Andrea! I got edible glitter from a little local cake shop. It really good but my mate said it looked like someone had chipped off all there nail polish onto cakes… gee thanx
During my weekly read of your fab blog (and i still say you should write a book. It would be a fantastic read), i came across the above comment and as the mate who kindly said it looked like chipped off nail polish, i can honestly say the cakes were delicious (and the special “hoover” chocs). I really hope it doesn’t put you off making more to enjoy with our girly catch ups
. Oh and i agree with Andrea, you should be v proud of yourself
keep up the hard work x
