Milly hasn’t been sleeping that well lately and so when she finally had a long day nap I went on a bit of a painting bonanza…
I started with some new nursery pieces, I have been wanting to do a jungle series of canvases for a while and I tried out a new style of more bold, graphic shapes and colours painted especially for babies new eyesight! I painted a very freindly looking zebra, a cute baby giraffe and a lovely round baby elephant that would be happy to grace any new nursery!

Then I got started on some new 3d canvases that have been waiting to be finished for a while, the meremaid is painted and then embellished with pearls, seqiuns and a treasure chest of real gems and so the boys don’t get left out, I painted a very jolly pirate with his own chest of treasures…

So all in all a very productive nap time!!
When Milly was’nt in the land of nod this week she has been enjoying a little bit of sunshine. As you can see by these pics, she loves the garden and watching me peg out the washing, and eating some good old summer food!
